[2027 Issue] 3s Optech Featured in The Yomiuri News

3s Optech was recently featured in the national edition of The Yomiuri Shimbun in an article highlighting Japan’s upcoming “2027 Fluorescent Lighting Issue.”
Our company president, Mr. Ban, was interviewed to discuss our proactive efforts in addressing this pressing matter—particularly in relation to converting shared lighting in residential complexes to LED.

With fluorescent lamp production scheduled to end by the close of fiscal year 2027, there is a high likelihood of a last-minute surge in LED demand. However, this may be met with serious challenges, such as a national shortage of certified electricians and limitations in LED fixture production capacity. These factors could make timely conversions difficult for many properties.

At 3s Optech, we have been advocating for early preparation and transition to LED lighting to avoid future disruption. We strongly encourage property owners, management associations, and developers to take action now to ensure a smooth conversion process.

For consultations or inquiries about LED upgrades for residential shared areas, please contact us at any time.
